My Passion and Journey for the Social Contribution
Since I was a child, I enjoyed helping others. Perhaps it was because of the encouragement from my parents and the appreciation from those who I could help.
I participated in various social services since then. Once I thought about having a social service as my career and seek advice from a few social workers. They told me about the satisfaction of helping others and how proud they are. However, at the same time, they shared the challenge, specially as a career.
Their works were sometimes funded by government but mostly by charity and donation. As a result, sustainability of activities is very uncertain. Also, some of them frankly told me they are not getting compensated well.
As I spoke about it with people around me, I got to learn about the social entrepreneurship. It is the way to make social contribution sustainable and rewarding both mentally and financially.
This page is about my journey of my journey about the thesis, "how can I help others?"
I will be searching for the answer and record it here. It will have two components - (1) social entrepreneurship and also (2) community services. My goal is to found an enterprise during my college years and continue my community service as long as there are needs.

CONRAD Competition - 1st Place Award
Such an memorable experience and unexpected achievement! I teamed up with two other students and my team is selected as one of finalist for the 2022 CONRAD Competition ! I am very excited and honored.
Conrad Challenge Program is a competition among students on their innovative business ideas. It’s hosted by the Conrad foundation and sponsored by prestigious institutions including NASA, Dell and Kennedy Space center. ( www.conradchallenge.org )
Our journey took about 6 months. I remember that a the very first meeting we studied about the Conrad Program. We were all thrilled but at the same time scared by the quality of awarded projects. We spent hours debating what we want to make. I felt like it was waste of time specially when I had to spend hours right before school exams. However, looking back, it was the time we really became a team by sharing to each other who we are and what we want. I shared my childhood story about going to hospital so often and getting Oxygen treatment for my lung. It was such a painful experience and I always wanted to make the process more user-friendly and affordable. My team members appreciate my enthusiasm and we conducted market study to verify that there is actually significant need in many countries, specially for your children.
Our final presentation in Houston, May 2022 was a full package business plan. We developed a prototype Oxygen regulator much cheaper and much easier to use than the the products available in the market today.

APIS Social Enterprise Club
In 2020, as a 9th grader, I founded APIS Social Enterprise Club. It was quite a new concept for many students and teachers but I managed to convince them of its value and to recruit founding members!
In 2021, the club succeed to re-registered and I continue leading it with a co-President and other members.
